Recommended to all to stay here. The whole atmosphere from booking in to leaving the hotel is very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Large car park behind the hotel. Hotel was quiet, comfortable. Nice clean bathroom. Room a good size with all usual extras. The only "down" side was very low pressure on hot water supply and very dim lighting in the bathroom itself. Staff helpful. Promised to report the water pressure issue for future ...
Close to the station, and about a 15 minute walk to the football ground. Near the city centre as well. So convenient. My room, despite looking over Botchergate was quiet. The only problem that I had was that the wifi wad was not very good, and half of the time just didn't work.
Nice ,recently refurbished hotel.Ill fitting windows and doors causing flies to enter the room and an extremely large gap at the bottom of some of the doors.Parking a bit of a problem , probably a dozen free spaces outside the hotel but very difficult to access. Not too much control of the central ...
When coming into reception the building was out of this world, receptionist was very helpful. The room was lovely would have liked a king size bed, bathroom needs some maintenance ceiling and walls need some work done due to crack on wall and some dampness on ceiling.
This was the cheapest hotel in town. So I was expecting something rough. But it was excellent. Staff were superb. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great. And all within 100m of the station. You'd pay £200 for this in London. I'll be going back next time.
Bungalow type hotel, just of motorway, not far from Gretna Outlet shopping. Hotel has a quirky feel with an interior that will surprise you. Very welcoming staff, rooms are huge, and although seems to have been refurbished, could still do with a few more improvements. Carpets are a bit threadbare ...
Negatives are: no eating facilities, bar was closed most of the time during the 2 days we were there. Room was not serviced after the first day. Never saw a member of staff till it was time to check out. Positives: room was clean and comfortable. Area was good for exploring. The cost was very reasonable ...
Handy for the M6 with (non-motorway priced) service ststion nextdoor. Pretty inn, comfortable, with obliging staff. Good pub grub in pleasant bar or restaurant. Overall, good value & recommended.
