Parking was straightforward, with ample options both on-street and in a nearby multi-storey just a short walk away (under 200 yards), which made arrival and daily outings very easy. The hotel foyer was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, with useful local information readily available. Our room was on the smaller side compared to typical U.S.……

“I was very disappointed with the overall cleanliness and condition of this hotel. The front of the property was extremely dirty, with rubbish scattered around, giving a very poor first impression upon arrival. The outdoor swimming pool was out of service and filled with green, dirty water, which was both unappealing and concerning. The garden area was also poorly maintained, with broken furniture left lying around, adding to the neglected atmosphere. Inside the hotel, the heating was turned……

“I love staying in this beautiful old hotel. It is a stones throw from the town and beach with beautiful views across the sea to Torbay and beyond. Breakfasts are fantastic and catered for my weird veggie dairy free diet with ease. The staff here are always so friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Oh and my two dogs love it as well.”

“Dated, slightly rickety hotel. Room was fine although quite hot at night. Breakfast was good. Pool would be good although was cold on our visit. Games room was a bit scruffy although still good fun. Location is great for the beach and town centre. ”

“Do not book this place, its a hostel for Stella drinking toothless inbred men amd woman off there nuts on crack and chuck in a few illegals, you get the picture. Photos are pinched of places like Travelodge and know way reflect this hovel. Adam who is dealing with my complaint has just forwarded a stock response of we're looking into it.
