“Great staff and location. The hotel needs some TLC particularly the gardens and pool area. The bathrooms were nicely decorated and very clean. There was a graduation celebration and woke up to trash and food around the pool area (tray of hamburger and hot dog sausage). The staff was very efficient in cleaning up the mess early morning around 5-6am (I’m an early riser;). A guest was very impolite mentioning in Spanish to a staff that “he hoped they put Clorox in the pool” as I was passing……

“A small suggestion is to have breakfast, coffee, bread something that people could enjoy, there should be someone at the bar located near the pool for drinks. It’s a beautiful place however it’s loosing sight, with no amenities, no security in the parking lot. ”

“El Faro continues to be one of our go-to hotels when in PR! The location is great, with Crash Boat beach just a mile away, tens of food options, and just a couple of miles away from the highway. The property, as well as our room,was clean, maintained and well furnished. They added a second pool which is bigger than the original and a quieter as is a bit removed the restaurant.
