“Again and as usual booked through Expedia, included breakfast.
However when we got to the entrance of restaurant, while some guests were seated as what it should be, we were not allowed to have our seat there but TOLD to go to another room, where obviously temporarily setup with cheap furnitures and over crowded, noisy room.
Not a good way to start a day.
Booked through Expedia for 15-20 years, this is the first time to be in such embarrassing moment.

“It was a wonderfully unique experience to stay at this Japanese hotel with a private onsen bath in our room. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights as it is in a remote location 40 min from downtown Kanazawa. They have a free shuttle to and from Kanazawa that you need to organize with the hotel. The multi-course Japanese breakfast in a private room was a treat. The staff was very responsive and helpful despite not speaking much English.
