“We stayed for 2 nights & loved it! Such friendly staff, the food was delicious, the bed was comfortable & we had a great time! Our server at breakfast was so funny & chatty which we enjoyed. Breakfast was probably the best cooked full Scottish I’ve had in a long time. We would definitely go back. I’d say just as an fyi that the bar does get busy so book a table if you’re eating lunch or dinner there. Also, the music in the bar doesn’t stop until 11pm so we could hear it from our room but it……

“We had to change rooms for the second night due how I booked the 2 night stay at the last minute - my fault. But must admit I was glad to move as the first night in the cottage across the car park was very noisy with unhappy guests (one off ? ) and banging doors (big sign on door - so regular occurrence?) ! Spent next night over the bar - I used earplugs! Some of the staff were delightful but unfortunately my first encounter was a French lady in the bar who was obtuse to say the least. I……

“There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door.”
