“Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was kind and courteous. Room was brutally hot with no Air Conditioning. I asked for fans and they provided up to 3 fans but they just circulated very hot air. I eventually resorted to removing all my clothing and wrapping my body in a wet towel in an effort to get some rest. I returned home to the US sick with chest congestion and am now under the care of a doctor who is treating me for my symptoms. Although it’s a lovely I will not return to Drift……

“Good sized room and bed. Very hot and stuffy on entry. Tried the air con control panel but it was switched off. (In a heatwave in june?) Turned on unit at the mains and room cooled until early hours of the morning when I heard water splashing on the carpet from the ac unit.- Noticeable amount of water pouring from unit-So turned it off again. Also found bathroom door wouldn't shut. Personally I prefer to use the bathroom in private and not have the door swing open to full view of the……

“Overall not bad. The hotel was built a long time ago. Even though you took the lift, there were still many stairs to go if you were assigned to the 3rd floor. I checked out the hotel on 5/21 morning. The black girl at the front desk was not very helpful.”
