“The Grand Hotel Victoria is an amazing property with a warm and friendly staff willing to help at all times. Our stay in a Jr Suite was spectacular, with a deck and expansive views of Lake Como. The rooms were very nicely appointed and the staff was very responsive to cleaning requests, turn down service and requests for things like ice and pillows. “Euro 180 is charged for private boat trip but no English speaking guide, no welcome drink or fruit basket in room considering 5 star and nearly 500 euro rate! Breakfast is good. Gym room is opened 9 or 10am, not designed for morning excercise purpose! Room reserved considered to be garden view but in actual, funny hotel back of house view! No show for one room, no consideration for partial refund or extend for future use- waste!”
