“This was our second visit to The Boathouse this year and it was fantastic again. We love the setup and the view of Banff beach and the ocean. A very comfortable home from home that we highly recommend.We will be back”

“I will happily admit that I booked this not really knowing anything about the property but we needed somewhere to stay that was inexpensive. We were visiting the area to see family. The accommodation on the website says shared bathrooms- not something we really wanted but nevertheless it turned out that we had a room with our own toilet and wash basin. There were shower rooms and bathrooms close to all the rooms in our part of the accommodation. The decor is a bit tired but I understand that it……

“Amazing house and facilities for our family of 8 adults and 5 children aged from 2 to 10 years. Everyone loved the indoor swimming pool snooker and table tennis. The children enjoyed the outdoor facilities. The nice weather was a bonus with lots of lovely walks. The facilities in the house were first class and I would highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will return for another family get together. ”

“What a fabby wee place to stay. It was perfect. Well equipped, comfortable, clean, spacious & quiet. Was literally everything we were looking for. The log fired hot tub was brilliant. And it was only a short drive to Elgin for shops, restaurants etc. Lovely couple of days away, we'd highly recommend. Xxx”

The trail alongside the house leading to the Whisky Train, The Balvenie Distillery and Gledfiddich Distillery was used frequently! Its a peaceful way to travel on foot to avoid the road. The smattering of pamphlets and fliers for things to do in and around Dufftown was appreciated. Overall a wonderful place in an amazing location.”
