“Superrr”

“Only one person in the front desk at the same time working in the kitchen, the room were not that clean, bed sheet are tear a part and it’s obvious but they used it anyway. Gym is not open due to construction. Floor we’re filthy so as the elevator. Breakfast was not that great. It is not what I expected. I’m so disappointed.”

“Spacious and clean. Very comfortable place for an overnight stay. Kitchen very open and usable for meals.”

“The train car was warm and inviting. Historical but equipped with modern amenities. Fun! ”

“The first impression was that it was a deserted old motel. The very nice manager came out as we were about to leave and said this was it. Supposedly under renovation . What a joke. Floors had cheaply been replaced, old tub had been sprayed white ( but not well), toilet may have been replaced but still had the old toilet seat which was not fastened. As you walked into the bathroom the lights automatically came on but they also came on by themselves throughout the night! Bad paint job in the room……

“This was our second year staying in the train cars at Doolittle Station. Last year, we stayed in the Blue Caboose and this year in The Artiste. We prefer the Blue Caboose hands down over the Artiste. Cleaner, better laid out, and better stocked. In the layout of The Artiste, you walk into the living room, into the bathroom, then into the bedroom, and finally the kitchen. The kitchen was missing simple things like paper towels which we purchased and left for the next person. Also, no hand towels,……

“We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The view was spectacular, and the privacy and seclusion made it feel like our own peaceful retreat. It was exactly what we needed for a long weekend away and some quality time together. The cabin was exceptionally clean, tidy, and smelled fresh when we arrived. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The kitchen had all the basics we needed, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. We especially enjoyed……

“This was an interesting property. It was fun to stay in a converted railroad car. We were disappointed to see that most of the facilities on the property were not available.”

“Excellent! The room was great! Service was excellent, staff friendly. The Dinosaur Museum was great! Loved eating in the cafe. We unfortunately had not enough time for hitting a bucket of golf balls or the miniature golf course (the miniature golf course also has an assortment of dinosaurs and was just outside our door). We traveled to see several covered bridge in the general area (each within approx. 40 to 50 miles of the hotel) and passed a few Amish farms as well. We saw and read……

“We really enjoyed our stay in the Red Car..everything was as described. Easy access and clean.”
