I cannot recommend this place
The good: Peaceful, beautiful location. House has lots of space, amazing views, plenty of heat, working fireplace, parking. The not so good: the kitchen is not well equipped or organized. Challenging to find what we needed - no large knives for cooking or vegetable peeler, paper towels, napkins, etc. Quality of pots and pans not good, dishes chipped, some of the glasses have paint on them. The towels were provided at additional charge - one had holes large enough to put my hand through, one was dirty. One bed had a warm comforter - the others did not - just thin blankets. The bad: the power went out - not once but twice. The second time we had difficulty reaching the manager and when we did we were asked what we plugged in. This tells me blowing a circuit is not unusual and we could have been made aware of the issue to prevent it happening the second time - or the first for that matter. What did we plug in? The toaster. I have never left a negative review for a vacation stay and I feel bad about this one. But I would not stay here again.
