Room was dirty when we arrived. Waited for housekeeping to clean room and she never came. K was cleaning the room, vacuuming and changing bedding at 1030 pm. No Room Service option. But they charge you extra to go pick up your food and bring back. Water was shut off twice for 4 hours during stay

My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the contemporary design and welcoming atmosphere. Here are some highlights: Convenient Location: The hotel is nestled in the heart of Riverside Village, offering a wide array of dining options and great shopping. It’s just a short drive from Augusta University Hospital and the Augusta Convention Center. Pet-Friendly: As a pet lover, I appreciated that the Crowne Plaza offers pet-friendly rooms and suites. My furry companion felt right at home! Premium Amenities: The rooms were well-appointed, featuring blackout curtains, soundproofing, and comfortable beds. Complimentary Wi-Fi was a nice touch. Local Attractions: Whether you’re visiting for work or leisure, there’s plenty to explore. Root for the Augusta Greenjackets at SRP Park, stroll along the Augusta Riverwalk, or enjoy the nightlife on Broad Street in downtown Augusta. Golf Enthusiast’s Paradise: Don’t miss the chance to see pro golfers tee off at The Masters Tournament at the Augusta National Golf Club. If you’re a golfer yourself, tee time at the nearby River Golf Club is a must! Overall, my stay was excellent, and I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza North Augusta. My experience at this hotel was less than satisfactory. The front desk staff and maintenance were great. However, the staff in the hotel lounge restaurant part & upstairs were HORRIBLE. We had to hunt down someone to take our orders on two separate days. We sat down & no one offered a menu but walked by us multiple times avoiding eye contact on purpose. We raised our hand to waive & signal multiple times but were ignored. Both times it took us AT LEAST 30 minutes just to get a menu & 40 seconds of service. We were told both times to wait a moment so they could help us but both times we were brushed off. Both times, they took our personal credit card & held it for hours until we were ready to pay. We have never experienced that anywhere. We did not understand why they couldn’t charge it to the room OR take our card when we were ready to pay as normal. We asked one waitress for a menu & she told us we needed to get up, walk over to the bar & get the menu ourselves. Besides the service, the room was BAD. Two bugs were located. The chair in the room was sticky & dusty (dirty). There was a long brown stain on the top cover. The shower floor was not clean & so disgusting that I did not feel comfortable taking a shower upon checkout. After the second day, I noticed red spots on certain locations on the wall. Upon closer look, it appeared to be blood. All of this was documented with pictures. This was the nicest hotel in the area but I was better off staying at a motel.

The property was very nice, safe and restaurant & bars on the property were a plus. The rooftop bar was a great hangout spot and didn’t have to worry about driving. The area had sidewalks if you wanted to tour the area. This was a birthday getaway for my fiancé and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend and would return. No microwave in room but one in lobby for guest use.
