“Lovely place to stay in the jungle and an easy and interesting 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach of Dalawella. Asoka and his staff go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need to have a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Stayed three weeks and would happily have stayed another three! If you're looking for nightlife this isn't the place for you, but for comfort, peace and tranquility, this is the place to go. Can only highly recommend. ”

I loved all the thoughtful touches of a cold juice when you arrive, flowers on the best and them putting on the ac before we arrived so we could arrive to a cool room. “Beautiful Geoffrey Bowa- designed boutique hotel set in a beautifully tended garden. This is our second stay & it didnt disappoint. The staff remembered us after 4 years! Very good service, excellent breakfasts & evening meal. There is a train line running along the bottom of the garden and the train clanks along it every hour or so. We loved the quirkiness of it. “Possibly the smallest room Ive ever stayed in. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was old and in poor shape, stained lampshade on the tiny desk. Glass door to bathroom so all light flooded thru there. Curtains did not meet in the middle in the bedroom. Bathroom was designed as a wet room, no shower curtain, awkward tiny 1cm "step" between toilet and shower. Kept falling over it. Windows and glass shelf in bathroom were very dirty. Tiled floor in bathroom very slippery when wet no mat provided.……

“This was the best stay during our visit of sri lanka. We stayed there with our bigger kids and another family. The house has four rooms with AC. One with four beds which was perfect for the kids. The house and the Garden has several cosy places to stay and relax and have some space. My favorite place were the sunbeds overviwing the beach. The villa golden staff is just perfect. They are the greatest cooks and we got every day some new sri lankan specialities. They cared so much about us. We……
