“Stayed at Al Safwah Tower 1 in Makkah and honestly, it ticked all the boxes. The biggest win? Location. The proximity to Masjid al-Haram is unbeatable — quick and easy access to prayers, which makes a huge difference when you're there for Umrah and want to maximise every moment in the Haram. “Overall, a great stay and perfect for families. Located within a 5-minute walk from King Fahd gate. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff provided a great service. The service at breakfast was fantastic - the chef who made pancakes and omelettes was engaging and friendly. The cleaners, Aashiq and Ismail, were exceptional, friendly and very helpful. I agree with other guests that the rooms were a little tight, but they had all the amenities and were very clean. ”

“Check in was smooth. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice and a pleasant surprise. This hotel is close to the new extension, however takes about 10 mins walk (downhill) to Haram near Clock Tower. Please keep in mind, 2 mins of walk back is uphill. There is a bridge to the Haram right next to this hotel but it was closed. Once it opens, getting to the Haram should be convenient! Room was clean, and overall the hotel is not run down like some of the other Mecca hotels. Bathroom was……

“The hotel is very conveniently located to access the haram, just have to cross the road. I was very impressed from check in to check out, all the staff are very helpful and friendly throughout. The lifts at this hotel are absolutely awesome, never a long wait for a lift at any time. The view from our room out to the haram from the 8th floor was great. Rooms aren’t big but well equipped and fairly modern, showers are great. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“The room was good, but smelled a little damp. The staff from reception to the cleaners were excellent. The even brought me breakfast from the buffet to the room on the days I was not feeling great and unable to walk to the breakfast room. There is an electric stove/hub for cooking, but no pots were provided. We had to throw leftover food because we had no means of heating the food. A microwave would have been more useful than the electric stove/hub and less of a fire hazard. The proximity to……

“Clean room with tea coffee facility. Bathroom with soaps toothbrush slippers, towels etc. Plenty of working lifts to avoid delays. Respond to queries very quickly. Great shopping centre and good court. Breakfast quality is a bit of a let down. ”
