Ther were two baseball teams there and you wouldn't have known as our room and hallway were quiet (we were not part of the treams). No kids running around the building. The breakfast was very delicious. There were a variety of choices in the eggs and meats and the waffel batter, which made it easy to feed our 3 kids. The kitchen staff constantly refilled the food and kept the tables clean. Our room, bedding, and towels were clean. The staff was friendly and would greet you when you passed by. It was a great stay.

Great find for a family traveling. Breakfast was plentiful for all of us. The rooms were large and comfortable. Shopping and dining are near as well.

I carpets in the rooms need to be changed. They are old and they make the rooms stink. There should be no pets allowed, because they pee on the carpets

Great breakfast, very clean, hot coffee and fresh cookies available round the clock. My only complaint is that the bathroom doors had no locks and were sliding doors that bounced back open when you shut them. That was really annoying, but otherwise everything was great.

We'd just spent a night at the Hampton Inn downtown Albany which was awful. We hoped this Hampton Inn would be better and it was. Large bright room in good condition with an a/c unit that actually switched off and did not emit cold air all the time. Basic bathroom but shower gel was provided! Hilton run properties don't seem to provide shower gel (just an unpleasant to use "cleansing" bar of soap). Breakfast was unremarkable but would satisfy most. Staff were friendly and there was housekeeping without having to request it. A few very good restaurants within walking distance and Crossgates Mall was a few minutes drive away with even more dining options, so much better than the bleak downtown selection. Parking was ample and free ($18 a night in the downtown property).
