“We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was perfect, from the comfort of the rooms to the breakfast. We took the option to have dinner at the venue. It was truly one of the highlights of our stay. Everything is bio and comes from their own land. The peacefulness of the location just right at the river was another magical experience. Perfect to swim in the lake, paddle, or even for a boat ride. Tomar or Coimbra is just 30 min drive and provides the option for a nice day trip. We can……

“Villa Gale Tomar has updated a gorgeous historic location along the Nabao River while still honoring it's historic charm. We booked a room with a balcony facing the outside pool and river, and were more than pleased with our accommodations. The hotel has ample parking in the prettiest parking lot I have ever used, only 1 block across the river to the downtown main street, and is full of elegant charm!”

“One of the most delightful surprises I’ve encountered on my trip. This 300 year old Solar is magnificent and its owners and family have passed it down for over 8 generations. While the town itself has very little going on (I’m hiking so it would be hard to find a place to eat) the owners made me a wonderful plate of cheese, ham, homemade jam, bread and a glass of wine. Might be one of the best experiences diuring my travels and the proprietor was simply delightful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around. ”

“Would not recommend. Our AC didn't work. Wifi did not work in the room. We could never get hot water in the shower. Many of the breakfast options were stale. The gift shop was never open during our stay. There were very few guests, yet they put as at the far end of the hallway. There were not even cold drinks or ice available until after 4pm. There are many other hotel options nearby, so I would select something different next time.”
