São Simão Trail Residences

We stayed for a few days at the Convento da Serta Hotel. This was our first time to Serta and we didn't know what to expect of the region. We were very pleasantly surprised by a beautifully renovated hotel, which offers all the modern amenities and features while preserving the architectural details of the original convent. We stayed in one of the historical rooms, belonging to the convent. The room was spacious and clean, with its own temperature control and fully renovated bathroom, and...

Excellent property in a charming schist village. Highly recommended.

Nous avons apprécié notre bref séjour à l’hôtel. Le monsieur qui était présent était fort sympathique, le lieu paisible et la nourriture délicieuse. Les enfants ont apprécié voir des animaux. Nous recommandons complètement !

I booked this hotel because we were looking for something affordable, quiet and near things we wanted to see and visit. This was the best surprise of our vacation. The room was modern and very comfortable. We booked a double on the top floor, and we're right at the end of the building so we had views out two sides. The linens were very nice; definitely a step above the typical large chain hotels. The staff are very willing to help and provide advice of things to do and see. The hotel is close to...

Beautiful hotel. Very helpful staff. Great food.

Absolutely beautiful. Gracious hostess. Delicious food and presentation. I hope to stay there again and I will recommend it to others. Just lovely.

Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back.

I rented three single rooms for my mother, my sister and I. The rooms are small. They’re just what you need. Everything is clean. They were comfortable little views of older buildings. I went with the option to include breakfast. It was a nice breakfast at a very reasonable price. Grateful to make the start of our day so easy. There is a pool we did not go because it started to rain. It looked very nice. Up the street and around the corner is the castle. It’s in a great location. It’s easy...

We LOVED our experience at the Belem Hotel- we were treated like relatives who came for a visit- seriously!!! We can’t wait to go back - as now we are going back to visit our friends!!

OMG what a beautiful place to stay. The hotel character is unique and the hosts are so welcoming. We only stayed one night but wished it was longer. The dinner was amazing with fresh caught langoustines. The idyllic setting makes this hotel a place to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Portugal.

All ok
