“Friendly staff, attentive to room service needs. Shakila at breakfast was very good. She went out of the way to service us. There were 2 male receptionist staff also were great! Forgot their names. Expedia had listed standard room as ocean view, but the property didn’t acknowledge as ocean view for standard room. We got the room we wanted after explaining it, they were accommodating. Will go back again. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at Kay Jay Palms. The rooms were spacious and very clean. A/C and fan combo kept the rooms cool in the day and night. We had breakfast and dinners there. The portion sizes were much more than we could finish. It is 5 min drive from Pasikuda beach which was very convenient for beach days in the morning and the ability to change before other activities in the afternoon. Overall a great experience. ”

“We loved Passi Villas- it’s very quiet, pool was great and food was great. We had half board with fresh pastries fruit and eggs for breakfast and for dinner a 3-4 course meal- I had the fish every night which was different daily The management leave you alone and you have the manager’s phone number if you need anything urgently. In the morning I would talk to the chef about what we would like for dinner- so very personal service. If you don’t like peace and quiet then you won’t like this place-……

“From the greetings on arrival to the moment of departure, the staff and owners were only too happy to assist us. If you are looking for a place to relax and hang by the pool or walk down laneways for 10 minutes to a great swimming beach, this place is just great to wind down from the usual tourist trails. “Sunaqua is located at the wrong end of Pasikudah beach. The beach in front of the hotel is too shallow and rocky for swimming. you can walk to the public beach to swimming however the public beach is busy during weekend. Other than that, the hotel itself is pretty good. It even provides ladies sanitary items which comes very handy and this shows hotel's attention to detail. ”

“Maison d’hôte sur la plage Il y aurait tout pour en faire un endroit merveilleux mais pour cela il faudrait accentuer les efforts sur le Menage, le matériel qui est cassé. Tout est laissé à l’abandon (matelas déchiré et tache sur les transats). Les baies vitrées n’ont pas du voir un chiffon depuis des années. La plage devant la maison est plein de détritus. La cuisine n’est pas formidable non plus ”

“Place was good and all things acceptable. Stay was plasant with very oblidging staff. However, the location is terrible. Very difficult to find and is road, if you can call it a road, is horrible. Full of flooded potholes in complete darkness at night.”

“It was unique in that it wasn’t in the place shown on the map. The local people had never heard of it. and they didn’t reply to phone calls. I didn’t stay there because I couldn’t find it! It’s not on Main st, as they claim . I doubt if I will get a refund. Annoyed. ”
