Pros: All of the above plus great and friendly service. Separate bathtub and shower. Nice personal touches.
Cons: Cannot think of anything currently.
Location: Great area within walking distance of many sights. Tram and canal bus stops nearby. Many restaurants nearby (but don't go to Sumo--terrible food )
Wonderful hotel in a wonderful area in a wonderful city. Great complimentary breakfast and late afternoon wine/cheese etc. Complimentary minibar and in-room cognac and other drinks. Get a room with a canal view.

Dear Thomas, Thank you so much for giving us a 5 star rate and your kind words about our friendly and helpful staff. And I am delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful stay with us at Banks Mansion and enjoyed our full service concept. And isn’t the location just perfect? Right in the middle of the center, located at one of the famous canal, with everything at walking distance. Did you know the mayor of Amsterdam lives just across Banks Mansion at the other side of the canal? We love to welcome you back anytime Kind regards, Paul Buyser

Wonderful hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. Spacious room with canal view, and the free minibar in the room is a nice touch! The staff are friendly and were very helpful in pointing out some places to go. The hotel is walking distance to Rijksmuseum, flower market, central station, and there are plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby.

Pros: Location, room, staff, breakfast, free drinks
Cons: The controls in the shower were rather intrusive - made it hard to stand under the water without hitting the temperature lever.
Location: We walked to everything we wanted to do - it couldn't be in a better location
Three nights everything provided - even a few bar!

Great to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Banks Mansion and been around the city for some sightseeing and drinks ;) Thank you also for the feedback about the shower tap. We know that some find it hard to unjust them to the right temperature. Therefor we have decided to get new water taps in the upcoming months. We hope to welcome you back again in the near future so you can test theme yourself. With kind regards, Paul Buyser General Manager

Dear Sue Boo, Thank you for your nice review and 5 star rating! How great to hear that you loved our interior, staff , ambiance and concept so much. These are beside our great location, the point where we try to make the difference with. Our mission is to make our guest feel like home away from home. Make it for all of them a pleasant stay in our mansion instead of that they just rent a room in a hotel. And I think we accomplice that :) We love to welcome you back in the future. With the warmest regards, Paul Buyser General Manager PS: contact our reservation department directly to get the best rates
