"Ours was a last minute two nights reservation and it worked out perfectly! At arrival parking was available and easy. We were upgraded to a better room and given a lot of information about Homer, places to visit, things to do, food joints that are uniquely Homer. The lobby is tasteful and welcoming, the owners/hosts are easy and caring. They make great coffee in the morning. The building is unique as it's old, but it's newly renovated and everything is fresh and new. It's an easy driving and walking distance to a few places to eat and a couple of art galleries. There are great books in the lobby and rooms about Alaska. It's an easy drive with stunning views to the Homer spit. I will totally stay there again and have already recommended it to my friends and coworkers."

"We had an awesome stay in Homer at the Pioneer Inn. The room perfectly suited our needs and Lila & Paula were amazing. Very responsive to questions and checking in to assure our stay was satisfactory. Also, I tweeked my knee, because you know, walking is hard :). They drove me to the medical center to get it checked out, and came back to pick me up afterward. They also helped me to find a knee brace in town. I would definitely stay at the Pioneer Inn when in Homer again."
