I was called 5 hours prior to checking, during my layover by front desk informing me that I had not reservation as they were not accepting new reservations. I made this booking two weeks prior. If there were issues, I should have been informed immediately not day-of. I was promised a resolution with callback within 15 mins. Never was called back. Issue was resolved and room was provided, however poor communication.
Wi-fi was "included" however the network in my wing did not work. Several guests, myself included, reported to front desk multiple times, no fix. I had to sit in the front lobby to access wi-fi to get work done online. Could not enjoy movies at night in my room which was a huge disappointment.
My room was nearly 100deg when I walked into it! I had to shut off the heater and open a window for hours to cool it down. I could not sleep well first night due to this.
The hotel claims it's "Under renovation" although I saw no renovations in my wing, however there were filthy hallway floors that needed a serious vacuuming in the A-wing 3rd floor.
Personal articles left behind by guests such as shoes and clothing, were left on the floor in halls and open areas near elevators on the third floor for days. No common area housekeeping efforts. It began to resemble a crack house.
Hotel claimed to be non-smoking though more than once I am certain I smelled fresh smoke odors. Fortunately the room was clean and the staff was courteous. Great location.
