“Clean and tidy little pad great outlook to the river. Generous breakfast options. Good bed and shower”

“A really nice place to stay. ”

“This has been the best BookaBach stay we've had in many years. A beautiful cottage in the middle of the country. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked-amazing. The art work, done by the hosts told very real stories which resonated with me. If you're wanting a quiet stay, 25 minutes south of Whangarei, make this your No 1 choice.”

“The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful.”

“Perfect place for us to gather as whānau. It had everything we needed, and more. Will definitely stay again if we have the need to travel that way.Thank you”

“Our Host was amazing…so helpful. The house had everything. What an amazing location, just a few steps to the beach. Incredible views with wonderful sunsets from the living room and Deck. A great Beach home.”

“Enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and had everything we needed. ”

“A great secluded spot that we’ll definitely be returning to! It was so peaceful and well maintained. We really enjoyed having a fully functional kitchen and laundry and the bathroom was modern and a great size. Martin welcomed us on arrival farewelled us on departure and was very accommodating as well. Only suggestion is make sure you bring bug spray as the sand flies will get you otherwise. And at night it can get quite hot in summer unless you use the fan like we did in the lounge from early……

“Lovely accommodating host. Provided fresh free range eggs and fruits from the property, and welcomed us to help ourselves to fruits/ veges from the garden and eggs from the chickens.Spa pool wasn't available while we were there, possibly due to the recent adverse weather conditions. Spacious home, possibly mid-reno in places so there's a mix of older and newer features - needed a little fiddling with the older shower to achieve a comfortable water temp.Plenty of space for 13 of us, kids loved……

“This is a great little escape. The pod was lovely and had a great view (waking up to the natural sunrise was lovely). The outdoor toilet and shower were also very clean. Kitchen is basic but had everything we needed. Loved eating our dinner outside under the Milky Way. Would recommend and perfect little escape from the city. ”

“The stay was really good; 7 of us stayed in the house, which was neat and tidy. The host was helpful, the check-in process was easy, and there was a nice ambiance.”

“The amazing art and other eclectic features, a very trusting hostess, also her welcoming hospitality. The bed is extra comfy too, Molly (Dog) and i felt very much at home. xx”
