“We stayed for two weeks in this quaint home. The first week was characterized by rain, rain, rain, but we needed rest, rest, rest, so we made a fire (it was actually chilly) and ventured out only for food. The area food choices are AWESOME! If you drew a 20 mile circle around the area, you’d be amazed at the quality of food choices available. We hiked in the area, visited Bushkill Falls, and met kind folks all over the area. We had a very nice time. ”

“Such a wonderful trip to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday! We stayed in this house with 3 other families and there was plenty of space for all to sleep and cook/eat together. Kitchen had all the amenities, house was clean, and the deck was beautiful (with fire pit, table/chairs, and hot tub). Game room downstairs was great for kids of all ages!”

We were in the area to visit Pa. State Parks and stayed here two nights. My wife found Rex Hotel online and she really relies on the reviews of past guests. With this receiving so many positive ratings we went for it. The no contact check-in and out was new for us, but no issues arose at all. “Our family truly enjoyed our time at the cozy cabin! The cabin was clean and well stocked. The lake is a short 2 min walk just across the street. It was so easy to launch our kayaks there too. We loved the firepit and used it almost every night! Lastly, you can easily fit 3 cars in the drive way. ”

The gym and lake are just down the hill.One thing that the description of the house didn't highlight was the downstairs apartment. “There were 7 adults and 3 children. The place was very accommodating for our group. Nice large kitchen and table for meals. Plenty of space and areas to relax. The dock was in good condition and fairly easy to get to. The location is convenient for having a boat and swimming as there is less boat traffic. It may be a little challenging for some as there is only a rough path down to the dock/water. We did not have trouble parking three cars and a trailer (for 16-foot boat). ”
