“Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Blumeray in der Champagne und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen herzlich, aufmerksam und sorgen dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt. Obwohl Französisch ihre Muttersprache ist und wir selbst nur sehr wenig Französisch sprechen, konnten wir uns problemlos auf Französisch, Englisch und sogar ein wenig Deutsch mit ihnen unterhalten. Die Gespräche waren immer angenehm und……

“Cabin was awesome and immaculately clean. Staff were brilliant too and the breakfast had a great range; for our 2 dogs too. Great setting in the river with very pleasant walks as well. Highly recommend!”

“Nice individual units, small but perfectly adequate. Good selection of food at breakfast, but did not feel relaxed as it was take a tray and collect your food as you go, it may have been due to the large groups present at the time.”

“The room was ok, but missed airconditioning. The staff is not very helpful and they only speak French, they even do not try to speak English or try to help you. When you run a hotel and only speak French that is not the way to do. Food is good, taste and quality.”

“Room spotless. Comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. But awfully small. Could only open 1 bag at a time. Check in instructions only came through 10mins before our arrival. Just not good enough for us. But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!”

“Very basic hotel, the double bed was quite small. Friendly staff but we don’t speak any French and no one spoke English so we struggled to make ourselves understood - they did their best though. Great food in onsite restaurants ”

“Breakfast fresh but coffee was bad. Room. Ice and quiet but bathroom shower not working properly and floor tiles loose. Lovely gardens and good safe parking. I really like this hotel but the refit has been done on the cheap which is disappointing. The bed is less comfortable than before.”
