“Great spot in town. Very nice space.”

“Great property and host! Would stay there again.”

“Charming!! I was in Verona for a business conference and really wanted to be off of the beaten path & out of the city. This apartment was perfect! New Glarus is endearing, with local options for eating and drinking. The brewery is so close, and the surrounding area is truly the heartland!”

“My gosh this place is so adorable and cozy. We stayed only one night, but already have plans to come back. The communication ahead of our arrival was great. The check in was smooth. The location is quiet, beautiful and serene. Would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a bit.”

“The penthouse is more incredible than the pictures show. We loved all of the special touches - murals, cows, old school video game machine, hanging chairs. We had plenty of shampoo, soap, tp, towels, coffee. I loved hearing the clock tower from the courthouse. I've never been on The Square after businesses are closed; we really enjoyed the quiet ambience. There is not a door to the bedroom, so privacy may be a factor if you are sharing the rental with friends/family. Similarly, the beautiful……

“Nicely set up and clean. The town has a great downtown with lots of local shopping and an even better coffee shop than the chains! Close to a park and local grocery store as well.”

“Wonderful place to stay while visiting Mt. Horeb! Very close to downtown, within walking distance. Beautiful, and very clean accommodations and the host, Pam, is an absolute gem! She was very helpful and so easy to work with! Highly recommend!!”

“The Clowney Street Cottage "grew on us." The upstairs was comfortable and we liked the decor. There were some quirks with the lighting, stairs, lots of floor creaks, and miscellaneous needs such as newer washcloths and towels. The kitchen and bedrooms are on the second floor, which was not in the listing and could cause some accessibility issues for guests. The property is an old carriage house with up-to-date kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and was overall charming, safe and comfortable for our……

“Lovely older house that’s is well maintained and decorated. Comfy beds and lovely linens. Neighborhood was quiet. Enjoyed front porch swing and patio set on deck in evenings. Will stay again when here for art retreat or classes.”

“Great weekend...close to the Casino in Iowa!”

“Absolutely a beautiful house. Wide open spaces and beautiful scenery. Can't say enough good things about it. Stayed with 2 other couples and we will definitely book this place the next time we visit this area”

“The home itself was beautiful! The upstairs bathroom with the jacuzzi tub was great. We enjoyed watching pelicans on the river. The price and photos led me to expect a level of luxury that the property did not live up to. Despite the spa-like picture with the towel and washcloth rolled up by the sink, there were only two washcloths in the house- not enough for each of our group to use one. There was also only one dish towel. In my experience in other Vrbo’s there have been plenty of extra……

“Great Stay. Will book again!”
