The villas we stayed in was nicely sized, had all the amenities we needed. short walk to the nearby beach. others can access it but villas had their own lounge chairs with key. Main pool only open 5pm and later but each unit has a pool if needed. honestly, ocean is so much better as the water is clear and temperature perfect. few restaurants in walking distance. store just a short 2 minutes drive. central location about hour to chania, 90 minutes to south side. "This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again."

"We stayed at the Syntopia Hotel for our summer holiday. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they put in extra effort to get to know you and ensure you are having a lovely holiday. A few days into our holiday, they were automatically bringing our favourite drinks to our table at meal times which was very lovely! The food had such a good variety with a different focus every other night. We particularly enjoyed the Asian night. We would recommend staying at the Syntopia to everyone!"

The pool was great and the food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very well done. "Hotel easy to find, next to large supermarket on a main road, a mile from the cross island route. Some parking, 3 allocated spaces and then on street parking nearby Has a lift but some stairs involved for most rooms. Room was a 2 room apartment with a large lounge/kitchen area, with a large Smart TV, oven, hob and fridge. Balcony off each room, large shower room, and plenty of storage space. Complimentary breakfast was good. Pool area limited, not enough sunbeds and begins to lose sun from about 3pm. Staff were pleasant and helpful. 100yds from the massive beach and its safe promenade full of bars and restaurants leading to town, about a mile away. The main road option I would avoid on foot, parked cars and busy junctions."
