I'm not really sure which hotel I am reviewing because when we arrived in our taxi upon checking in we were informed in the front desk that our room was actually in their other hotel (Athenaeum Palace Hotel) which was right across the street. We tried reasoning with them that this was NOT what we had booked and they insisted that the hotel was 'exactly the same' and that it actually was the same hotel, which it wasn't. They called and payed for a taxi to drive the very short distance to it. The other hotel, although nice was not exactly the same and was not what was shown in the pictures. Service was good and the included breakfast was also very good. Although not our case, it seemed like some of the rooms in our floor did not have any windows at all, rather they had glass walls facing the corridors believe it or not, of course with thick curtains that covered it all, but still. We didn't really have a window either as we just had some glass brick that let the light in but you could't see anything at all. Finally, the location of the hotel (both of them) was NOT as advertised, most definitely NOT 10 minutes away from the Parthenon. Instead, the original hotel (not the one we were placed at) is located in between two strip clubs and there are prostitutes on the street. Overall, not a fantastic experience at all as one can see.
