“This cabin was perfect for a family getaway to the Lake George area. It is exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for our stay. The loft bed is accessed via a ladder; our 8yo enjoyed it immensely but an adult might find it challenging to access. The location is what makes this place special; about a 90 second walk to the beach area where we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and using the SUP. Tom is an excellent host and had great recommendations for the area. He is easy to communicate……

“The property was in a word: lovely. You can tell a lot of work went into renovating this place. My friend and I absolutely loved just chilling on the front porch each night. We meant to have a fire in the back, but we never got around to it. There was plenty of wood provided though, which was fantastic, as you can't bring firewood from out of state. The pool was a nice addition. The beds were very comfortable. The water was crisp and clean. My only complaint at all was not with the property or……

“We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. It was well kept, clean and organized. It felt peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is to add to the listing that though pets are welcome they aren't allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. This is certainly understandable since some people don't train their pets. However, not being able to do so limited what we could do on a few days. Also listing a puppy day care in the welcome binder as an option for days renters would like to venture……

“Overall, our stay was exactly what we wanted. One thing to note is that the service around the property is nonexistent so keep that in mind if that's important to you. Wifi is available at the property but it can be difficult when there are more than a few people trying to connect. The kids had so much fun in the pool and my family loved the privacy the property offers as well as the fire pit. The home has a very rustic, cabin-in-the-woods vibe to it. “This is a nice, lakefront property, exactly as described in the profile. It does require climbing a number of stairs to get both to the main property and then down to the lake. But there’s plenty of space on the main floor, and three comfortable bedrooms on the lower floor.”

“The property was a perfect spot for a variety of activities and suited for when rain hits. We loved the screened in porch. Very clean and well stocked. Owners were communicative and kind. Recommend Wayside Beach, Mystic Marina and the Adirondack Folk School gift shop.”

“I would rent this many more times! This was a perfect getaway, the use of the boats were so fun for my kids and I. I loved that it was a home away from home. The host was quick to respond and the property is beautiful! I didn't want to leave, but i look forward to renting this again over the summer and taking my kids here.
