“It’s nostalgic to me as we went there when I was a child and later took my kids there when they were small. The place looks almost exactly like it did 25 years ago. Some extra wood nailed in here and there to make it safe to walk. Lots of areas where one could easily trip.
One problem; they said they were no longer dealing with Expedia and charged me extra for taxes they say Expedia didn’t collect. I want to look into this because it seems “fishy” to me.”

“We arrived at the place around 9pm of Friday 5/29/26. After checking in we directly go to dinner and returned to the room around 11:00 PM.
Getting in the room, we noticed a container of spackle, along with sandpaper blocks, left on the table and smeared spackle on the floor. Further inspection revealed a thick layer of spackle dust on the dresser and across all the surfaces in the room, even on the bed (see the attached pictures for reference). The dust was so thick that the final attached……

“Not a bad place good location close to the beach. But be aware this place is not pet friendly. It is dog friendly only. The room was not quite as pictured in the listing in his age somewhat since then and the nice chair in the corner has been replaced with a dirty stained loveseat. The floor could use a good washing with hot water. The front desk people were very nice and check-in checkout was easy. If you’re looking for an inexpensive room near the beach and you don’t care about cleanliness so……
