"Good overall stay at Hotel Metropol in Munich. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and a perfectly solid place to stay for several nights. The biggest perk is the proximity to the train station, which made getting around very easy. The 24/7 free coffee machine in the lobby was also a great amenity and actually had very good coffee. The rooms felt a bit dated and more utilitarian than luxurious, so it didn’t quite have that “wow” factor, but everything was well maintained and functional. We stayed four nights and it worked well as a convenient base for exploring the city and taking day trips."

"The hotel is in a great location and very clean. The staff are very friendly but there is always one who ruins it for everyone else. One night, a guest had a big dog in their room and the dog barked anytime that someone walked by the room. The dog liked to jump on you and I had to wait to get the next elevator. "
