Family-friendly apartments in Le Castellet with water park
LE CASTELLET - Apartment CESAR, with a surface of 145 sqm, has formerly been partially the living area of the landlord, partially the cellars of the Mas du Galantin. That gives this apartment the unique mixture of bourgeoisie flavor and vineyard taste with high ceiling rooms in the sleeping area and visible wooden supports in the living area. The majestic fireplace and the integrated library give the living room, partially dug into the rock, its final cozy touch.
The fully equipped kitchen is built in Provence style and overlooks the terrace. The luminous veranda overlooks the terrace and the vineyards.
On the ground floor we further find a large double bed room with the main bathroom including a bath, a shower and a WC, completely renovated, giving birth to a beautiful stonewall as in ancient times. Near the kitchen we have a shower room with the washing machine. On the first floor we have another double bed room and two further rooms with each two single beds, as well as a second WC.
The terrace itself has a surface of approx. 60 sqm and lies to a large extend in the shade of a 100-year-old plane-tree, with a nice panoramic view on the vineyards. A large table for 8 and a barbecue help to make the terrace a well appreciated gathering place.
Apartment César as the other three units has full access to the pool, the parking and the garden.

MAS DU GALANTIN - In a 16th century Vineyard Farm (Mas Provençal), not far from the superb medieval village of Le Castellet, at 10 minutes driving distance from Bandol and the beaches:
charm and authenticity in the homeland of novel writer and film maker Marcel Pagnol. We offer you to share the unique atmosphere left by our ancestors in 3 charming Provence style apartments and a historical cottage for 2-8 persons. All 4 carry names of characters from Pagnol’s “Trilogie Marseillaise” and each of them has its own personality.
They all have private shaded terraces equipped with a barbecue or a plancha grill and private entrances. They have in common: a large swimming pool (11 x 5,5 m) on a property of 2.500 sqm facing the vineyards, our house mountain "Gros Cerveau" and a large private parking. They are all equipped with free wireless internet.
A dream of peaceful and untouched surroundings, where the easiness of living and the famous «Provençal accent» cherished by Marcel Pagnol himself persist. Here, the vineyards of the world-famous Bandol and the bronze colored olive-trees are deployed as far as the eye can see.
Mas du Galantin was first mentioned in the official books in the year 1550. It has been extended subsequently over the centuries and reached its actual size in 1897. Historically the property served as vineyard farm to the vine producing domain. It was only in the beginning of the nineteen sixties that both were sold to separate owners and became “Mas du Galantin” (the historical house) and “Domaine Le Galantin” (the vineyard).
We had the chance to become the happy owners of the Mas in 2003. When visiting the first time, we fell in love with the situation, the historic building and felt very good vibes at the property.
We undertook over the years a series of renovations and created the parking and the garden. We created the 3 apartments in the main house – César (145 sqm, sleeping 8), Marius (120 sqm, sleeping 6) and Fanny (90 sqm, sleeping 4) were born. We transformed the cottage at the pool into a cozy apartment – the birth of Panisse (30 sqm, sleeping 4)
Our guests regularly confirm our impression of our first visit – the good vibes at Mas du Galantin. They appreciate the multi-family environment. Many times, we observe children making new friends during their stay at Mas du Galantin and parents having a good time together during their holidays. Many guests are coming back – the biggest compliment we can expect.
Guest accommodations at this apartment offer private pools and fireplaces. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens or kitchenettes offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils.

Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations and hair dryers. Televisions come with DVD players. Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and irons/ironing boards. Housekeeping is provided on request.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Lage
Wir ( Familie mit 2 Kindern und einem befreundeten Paar) verbrachten knapp 3 Wochen im Haus Cesar. Wir hatten eine wunderbare und erholsame Zeit. Das Haus, Garten und Poolanlage sind super schön und gepflegt. Für uns war es sehr praktish, dass der Pool umzäunt ist und eine Kindersicherung am Tor hat, so konnten die Kinder frei herumlaufen. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Man erreicht viele wunderschöne Ziele in kurzer Zeit (z.B. Bandol knapp 10 Minuten, Cassis 25 Minuten, Sanary sur Mer knapp 15 Minuten). Es gibt viele schöne Strände in kurzer Entfernung mit dem Auto, die auch für Kinder geeignet sind (flach abfallend, zum Teil mit Sand oder Kieselsteine). Tom ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, hilfsbereit und hat viele gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft, lieber Tom! Vielen Dank auch, dass wie spontan ein paar Tage verlängern durften. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder! Liebe Grüße Familie Sommer

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings!
We had a lovely time! We all really enjoyed our time in the Var region of France and will be back. Lots of places to vIsit, too many to mention we took a different direction each day. Loved relaxing under the beautiful old tree in the evening after a swim in the pool. The house had everything we needed, lots of information on what activities were on offer and places to visit. Traumurlaub in der Provence
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Mas du Galantin mit unseren beiden Kindern. Die Ferienwohnung Cesar, die uns von den Vermietern empfohlen wurde, hat sich wirklich sehr gut für unseren Aufenthalt mit Kindern geeignet. Wir hatten genug Platz und es gab keine gefährlichen Treppen o.ä.. Der Zugang zur Terrasse war ebenerdig und so konnte auch unser kleiner Sohn alleine nach draußen, um auf der Terrasse zu spielen. Auch der Pool war sehr kindersicher und sowohl mit einem Zaun, als auch mit zwei Alarmen gesichert. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das Team von Familie Vermast-Bissuel ist sehr um die Feriengäste bemüht. Auch unser schlechtes Französisch hat sie nicht davon abgehalten uns alles Wichtige für den Aufenthalt zu erklären, im Zweifel mit Händen und Füßen :-). Die Küche in der Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist sowohl ausreichend Ess- als auch Kochgeschirr vorhanden. Einzig die Küchenmesser könnten etwas schärfer sein. Das Anwesen hat außerdem eine sehr gute Lage, so dass alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs sowohl fußläufig als auch in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen sind. Sehr zu loben ist der örtliche Bäcker, der unser Frühstück jeden morgen zum Genuss werden ließ. Auch viele Strände sind mit nur kurzer Fahrzeit zu erreichen. Unser Favorit war hier der Strand in St. Cyr sur Mer beim alten Hafen, der sich sehr gut zum Baden mit Kindern eignet, da dort sehr viele Familien sind, das Wasser sehr flach ist und der Strand etwas vom Mistral geschützt ist, so dass es dort nicht ganz so windig ist, wie an anderen Stränden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können behaupten, dass wir uns trotz zweier kleiner Kinder erholen konnten. Was noch schön wäre, als kleine Rückmeldung an die Vermieter, wären zwei Sonnenstühle auf der Terrasse von Fewo Cesar. Gerne kommen wir wieder! Vielleicht auch mit Freunden, denen wir dieses Anwesen jederzeit empfehlen würden. Herzlichst Familie Mößlang-Buck
