Ridiculous view
Clean and beautiful. View is $1,000,000 view on its own. 3/2 felt huge for a family of four because there is a downstairs and upstairs living area. Could easily accommodate 8 people. Only thing that wasn't perfect was we had to park at the bottom of driveway cause of snow. Didn't matter for us but it would for people with mobility issues. Great place for a special family getaway. Very good communication and care by owner.

Fantastic Location!
Fantastic location very close to anything that you could need and wonderful house for a family of 4 with older children. kids really enjoyed their space on the bottom floor and the pool table. Communication with the homeowner was fantastic. A very helpful resource when we were caught up in a bit of a snow storm and needed some additional groceries. If you have a full size vehicle, the driveway is tricky to maneuver around, considering space and the incline. Would highly recommend this home for future stays.

A perfect relaxation
This property deserves a flat 5* for a family stay of max 6 people. The 2000 sqft is just the perfect size for a short stay. We have very much enjoyed the amazing view between the east and the west sun going over the blue ridge mountains. 4 deers were visiting our breakfast time in the morning when scrolling around the windows. The sauna was very relaxing after an intensive day of skiing. A competitive play with our kids on the eight ball pool table was hilarious to experience. We just had a ‘ball’ on 127 Raven rd.

Incredible!
Our family stayed from Florida and had such an amazing time! The home is very well maintained and had everything we needed. Its location is within minutes to beech ski resort, restaurants and corner market. The amenities were absolute top notch. We made use of the jacuzzi, sauna, fireplace and pool table. Helen was very helpful and will assist with anything you need. We will definitely be back!

White Christmas in the mountains
We enjoyed Christmas week at this beautiful home. We saw tons of deer, enjoyed the hot tub and gorgeous views. We had a fantastic stay. The home has 5 beds and multiple sleeping options that we were able to comfortably stay with our 3 kids and invite the grandparents. Helen was helpful the entire stay— from the time we booked to answering questions during our stay. We highly recommend this home and hope to be back!

Fall colors
Chose Beech Vibes for the view, and it delivered. Tastefully decorated, fun using the fire pit as the weather edged into Fall. Steep stairs could be dangerous for toddlers and challenging if you have hip or knee issues. Bring a portable safety gate if you have little ones. Sound carries throughout both levels. You can hear every footstep from the upper floor if you are downstairs and the pool table/ tv noise from below if you are upstairs. There’s no Keurig coffee maker, so pack yours if you are a pod person. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked, beds comfortable, and bathrooms sparkling clean.

The views, the views, the views!
This is a lovely property located smack dab in the middle of the Beech Mountain community, roughly equidistant from the summit and from the ski area. It is well-maintained and communication with the owner was a snap. The other reviews here will fill you in on the home's features, but nothing can adequately describe the long-range views from the front porch. It was so pretty that we ate most of our meals out there, sometimes bundled up for breakfast. Easy access to many hiking trails, too. If you really want to relax and get outside, this home is the perfect base for you. And if you are a skier, this home is perfect for a family with children. We look forward to staying here again.

The house was absolutely wonderful. It was very clean and exactly as pictured on VRBO. The front deck was a lovely place to sit in the late afternoons and enjoy the view of the mountains. Communication with the owner was immediate if we had questions or needed anything. We would definitely book again.

The tranquility I needed
We are thinking of purchasing a vacation spot in the NC mountains and wanted to check out the area. The main criteria for our rental was a Mountain View and the property delivered in spades. The space was exactly as pictured and having a glass of wine on the deck was incredible. It was clean and everything we needed was supplied (not the aforementioned wine). I would recommend this property if your goal is to have a quiet trip with friends or alone. The owner was also incredibly responsive when we had a question. The deer cooperated also by showing up every morning for coffee.

Great family ski trip
The house was excellent, master bedroom had beautiful views, as did the open kitchen/dinning/living room floor plan which seamlessly fit our family of 6 plus one of our oldest sons friend. The downstairs bedrooms & pool room suited the 5 teenagers with no problem and the sauna & jacuzzi was the perfect topping to a long day of skiing, and the slopes are really less than a 5 minute drive. We would do it again. The Blizzard's

Helen was the highlight of the trip
Helen and her beautiful cabin were the highlight of the trip. We went up to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday and the trip was cut short due to not one but two broken wrists due to a fall on icy conditions at the slopes. Helen had the driveway salted as the 15 degree temps came in and it is steep- great advice to park at the end on those icy days! We had difficulty with the fireplace, Helen got someone out immediately- unfortunately we could never make it work. The house is beautiful, super clean, well stocked, and in very close proximity to Beech mountain skiing. Helen is very response- even when asking about emergency care! Wish we could have stayed our last night, but surgery was required on one wrist so had to leave early! Thanks Helen for always being one call or text away!

Picture perfect, in every possible way!
This spectacular high country chalet is a charming cross between a a fairy tale and Hearth & Hand catalog. Picture perfect, in every possible way. My family loved every moment in this perfectly appointed home. Inside, the décor is modern, clean, and cozy. The master bedroom took our breath away. The owners have clearly paid careful attention to every detail from board games to gourmet hot cocoa to bear spray. Every plate, pillow and pot is brand new, tastefully chosen, and of the highest quality. We LOVED the pool table, the fireplace, and the gorgeous open floor plan with stunning long mountain views for miles from every window. We were lucky enough to experience breathtaking sunrises watching the light of the new day creep across the mountain range. Outdoors, the magic extends to include a delightful cedar sauna/steam room, a spectacularly clean hot tub, and a charming firepit under the twinkle lights. We alternated between fun in the snow and warming up in the sauna. Lots of local stuff to do including Linville Cave, Linville Falls, hikes, Mile-HIgh Bridge and Grandfather Mountain. Great local food... best pizza EVER at Brick Oven. We have made family memories here we will be takiling about for years to come. Will definately be back!

A great location to enjoy all the attractions of the mountains. If you want to stay put or leave the house for some fun, this house has it all. The most beautiful view from the living room and porch.
