I felt really safe in the quiet area and the beach was a straight 7 min walk away from the hotel. I walked the neighborhood and visited local cafes. The food in the pool area of the hotel was excellent but the charge to sit around the pool is ridiculous. The mall across the street was convenient and so were the taxis that were always outside waiting. I would stay again. The front desk reception persons had attitudes, except 2 beautiful brown ladies not from Spain. The rest of the staff was excellent and hospitable.

We enjoyed our room and stay. We were able to check in early which was very helpful. The room was clean. It was hard to get bedding for the sofa bed, but I'm sure that was because the hotel was sold out the night we stayed. Transportation we booked to transfer us from airport to hotel was excellent. Wish there was more food options for breakfast at the hotel or nearby, but we made do. Easy place to be before a cruise. Worked well for 3 adults. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely stay in the Diagonal Mar with very friendly staff throughout the hotel. We had a few problem with dinner one night but overall a fantastic experience.
