First off, the Pros:
1 The staff is exceptional! Especially Alex, quite possibly the nicest host we’ve ever encountered.
2. In a great neighborhood, close to everything & lots to do.
3. Super nice rooftop
Cons/Disappointments:
1. Rooms are quite tight, with no comfortable seating.
2. AC is extremely ineffective in some rooms. DO NOT PICK A GARDEN ROOM ON THE UPPER FOORS!
3. For a new hotel, it seems to. Be falling apart, may need a better maintenance crew. The AC wasn’t able to cool our room the first night we were there. We were switched to another room, that had functional AC, but the shower flooded & then the light over the sink broke on the same day. Someone had broken a glass shelf under the sink for towels & toiletries, so we had to sit everything on the floor. This was a problem with the aforementioned flooding.
If you are looking for a fun, LGBT/Hetero Friendly hotel & don’t mind a firm bed, it’s not a bad place. Just don’t unpack until you’ve been in the room to see if everything functions.
