“The employees were very nice and helpful. It was so hot, the outdoor pool was refreshing, clean and very big. I swam 2 times. Our room was comfortable and there were chairs and tables outside to enjoy a nightcap. I plan to take The Old Kentucky Dinner Train on our next visit, which is right across the street from this hotel. Will definitely come again.”

“They recently had a Fire and Water leak. We were not notified that there wouldn’t be breakfast due to the damage. We chose this hotel for that reason. Notifications should have been sent to us so we could chose to change our reservation.”

“The price per room was very reasonable. It’s right beside an interstate which is convenient. The rooms need to have some updating on bathroom fixtures. The wall coverings are peeling from the wall. The office is locked.”

Todd, one of the owners, was very friendly and helpful with our trip, and he was willing to accommodate special requests, including helping arrange a birthday cake for my husband. The rooms were charming and had a historic feel, and even though the buildings are old, they were well maintained and comfortable. The property itself was really pretty, and breakfast was delicious. It also had a homey, welcoming atmosphere and was a nice place to meet……

Walked to Heaven Hill Distillery, took a carriage ride, and enjoyed the numerous restaurants (Old Talbott Tavern, Rickhouse, Pat’s Place, and more). 30 minute drive to the Bernheim Forest Arboretum to see three Thomas Danbo Trolls and the Jim Beam Distillery. Easy and ample street parking! ”
