“The property manager, Lady, was so helpful. She helped arrange tours for us and gave us information about what to do. Finding the place was a little difficult, as Waze didnt map it out correctly (initially I used Mountain Faro Hotel as it was named in expedia) so i had to stop and google address and remap with a different name. I used Mountain Faro B&B and waze mapped icorrectly then. Also office was closed when we arrived at 7pm. I had to find contact info on expedia to reach owner. She……

“This hotel was great for our stay in Monteverde. It was a bit removed from the middle of town but close enough. Our tours were only 10-20 mins drive away. Staff were incredibly helpful and even improvised breakfast for a day we had a very early start. ”

“Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again ”

“Amazing property. Great trail, we did an improvised night walk ourselves and saw lots of animals including an owl. 4 types of breakfast to choose from (all very tasty) and 3 to 5pm coffee with cakes. One of the highlights of our trip.”

“This is a unique hotel that gives you the impression of living right in the middle of the jungle. The staff was wonderful and having Bobby, the owner's very sweet dogs great you and escort you to your unit is such a treat. The place is at the outskirts of Santa Elena, so very quiet but within walking distance of the town center. The units are modern, clean, well maintained and give you a cozy cabin-feeling. ”

The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos. It’s clear that Sergio truly cares about creating a great guest experience. The location was perfect!
