Crossing Pulteney Bridge, the western part of Bath is half a mile away and is home to the major shopping arcades and thoroughfares, alongside historic sites such as Bath Abbey, the Assembly Rooms, the Pump Room and the Roman Baths. Bath is also home to the Theatre Royal, the Victoria Art Gallery and the Jane Austen Centre.
