“We had a big weekend of sporting competitions, so it was so nice to have wonderful place to rest at night. Room and ensuite was beautifully clean and tidy. Was fantastic that our dogs could stay with us too. Having access to a full kitchen that allowed us to cook the meals we wanted was fantastic.”

“This B and B sets the standard for the word "Boutique". The friendliness of the staff and the extreme comfort of the king-size bed was truly unequalled. It is a little way north of the town and set on a beautiful property. No effort was spared in the quality of the breakfast. One negative point about the Manor itself is that the owners have 2 resident cats. If you are allergic to cats please beware. ”

“The unit was spacious and very clean. The cleanest shower I’ve ever seen! The kitchen was well equipped. Comfy bed with blockout drapes. Heater was effective as the weather was wet and cold. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for a dated style of accommodation/decor. Lake access very picturesque and outdoor area would be enjoyable in warmed weather. Would really have appreciated a paved path across grass to our room to avoid sodden trip from car park, as we arrived in a downpour, but……
