Whispering Pines is where you disappear into 12 acres of private forest and forget the rest of the world exists.
This 5,000 square foot estate sleeps 20 people across seven bedrooms, each with its own TV and streaming setup powered by Starlink internet. No fighting over the remote here. Everyone gets their own screen time.
The wraparound deck is massive. You'll find yourself out there more than inside, especially when you're soaking in the 8 person hot tub overlooking three acres of manicured lawn. Beyond that, nothing but pine trees and the sounds of whatever wildlife happens to be passing through.
Inside, the theater room has a 150 inch projection screen and Xbox gaming. The leather recliners are the kind you sink into and don't want to leave. The whole home audio system means your playlist follows you from room to room.
The chef's kitchen is legit. Six burner stove with griddle, two separate ovens, oversized Sub-Zero refrigerator, and every tool you need already there. Cutco knives, high end silverware, air fryer, Instant Pot, oversized crockpot, the works. Sixteen places to sit for meals, split between inside and the deck.
For kids, there's a fantasy princess spot and a wildlife cubby. Outside, there's a giant treehouse with its own flat screen TV and Xbox, plus two axe throwing targets and two fire pits.
The master suite is its own retreat. Jetted tub big enough for two people, walk in shower with seven spray heads, private access to the hot tub right outside. In floor heating throughout the house means you'll walk around barefoot even in winter, watching the flames in the oversized wood burning fireplace.
The property is wheelchair accessible with oversized doors in the master bedroom and bathroom. Everything you need is on the main level, including the laundry room stocked with detergent, bleach, and fabric softener.
You're five miles from Vallecito Reservoir for fishing and boating. Quick drive to Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort. The Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is nearby for that classic Colorado experience.
Whatever brings you here, you'll leave talking about when you can come back.
