This is a beautiful hotel located on top of a hill. The view on the backside is amazing. You can see part of lake Thun and the mountain range. It has a balcony on the back side overlooking the mountain and the lake. We visited in early September, but still was a bit hot. Room has a fan that helped. The staff was very helpful.

It’s location view and outside sitting looking down at the city of Interlaken is beautiful. Though the floors squeak since it is wood and unfortunately the people above us one floor didn’t sleep walking around all night long very annoying. Also the breakfast menu is the same every day they might need to vary it a bit so it is always the same.

We checked in late, but George, one of the newer staff members, was really helpful in walking us through the property's amenities. Breakfast is included with the stay, which is a nice touch, though the spread can feel a bit repetitive if you're staying more than two days — and the hot food bar occasionally leans too salty for our taste. Parking is available right in front of the hotel, though the side lot can get crowded when travel agency buses are parked there. The real highlight for us was the balcony view of the lake — mornings were wonderfully peaceful, with very little noise from the surrounding area.

We stayed at the resort for our 25th anniversary and we were well taken care of by the staff-everyone from the kitchen staff to the cleaning staff and front end staff. They were very kind and insured we enjoyed our stay. The views from the deck facing the vallley and lakes were surreal. They were some of the best pictures of our trip. The buffet breakfast was a nice add-on since there’s not a lot of food dining options in the Beatenberg area. It is a 15 minute drive from Interlaken, but we enjoyed the calmness of the area. The amenities, such as the gym and spa was a nice touch to the stay. I would highly recommend this resort at this price point.

Best view in the city, Our stay here was a dream come true. The hotel is easily accessible by car or public transportation. The property is very well-maintained and, above all, very clean. It has its own parking lot. It was a wonderful experience, as we had a spectacular view of the lakes from our room. Watching the sunrise from the room, surrounded by such beautiful nature, was a dream. The breakfast area and the breakfast itself were excellent! I remember that the two staff members who served us at breakfast were excellent—please forgive me for not remembering their names. In the front desk Melina, was exceptional, On my next vacation to Switzerland, I will definitely stay here again, and I will certainly recommend it to friends and others; I thank God for having found such an amazing place.

I am happy that I chose Beatenberg Resort & Spa for my first trip to Switzerland. Being up in the mountains, the hotel has incredible views. The bus is free as long as your a guest, and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. I got the panoramic room with the balcony, every morning is like waking up in the heavens. The free breakfast has a wide variety of options and the dining room area has great views. You can eat outside on the terrace too. Gym and sauna have everything (steam and cold bath also). The staff are friendly and have excellent manners and graciousness. Everything is clean. Melina and Gelson provided first-class service. I’m already looking to book again for next year, but it’s too early.

Beautiful Location, but the Property Needs Major Improvement The hotel has an amazing mountain location with beautiful surroundings, and the old building has a certain charm. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which was definitely a positive part of our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the room and facilities was disappointing. One of the beds was broken, and the washroom had a terrible and persistent smell. The odor was so strong that we could hardly sleep at night. The building itself is quite old and appears to be poorly maintained, which affected the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, the location, breakfast, and friendly staff were excellent, but the maintenance and cleanliness issues—especially the broken bed and unpleasant washroom smell—need serious attention. With proper renovation and better maintenance, this could be a wonderful place to stay.

We loved everything about our stay, start from check in till check out. Postbus 101 from interlaken west station straight drops & picks you to & from the door step of the hotel. Staff Melisa was great who checked us in and did the best she could to make our stay comfortable. Thank you! Cruz, helped me to get into the GYM early and made sure I get my gym access early mornings before the gym opening hours. Thank you! BF area is wide with lovely view, reasonable BF choices. Everything about our stay is memorable and encouraged us to stay here in future. If you want to enjoy peace, quiet, relaxing stay, Beatenberg hotel & spa is a great choice. Split feelings about this hotel. What really stands out about this hotel is the location, cleanliness, and the view/atmosphere from the lake facing balcony. It's truly unique and extremely enjoyable and relaxing. Now the not so good parts: - breakfast from 7-10 only, and is kinda mid - half the time nobody present at front desk to help or answer the phone - Spa is basically a small 2-person sauna. No jacuzzi or steak room or anything else - Spa is open only from 5-8pm!! - Gym was closed, had to get help from front desk to open it for me. In summary: it felt great being in my room balcony, but it felt difficult getting any service inside the hotel otherwise. If you're looking for a "Resort & Spa" like the name suggests, avoid this place. Otherwise, go for a lake giew room you'll really enjoy it.

Good location, the receptionist Moni was nice and helpfull. Nice rooms though we did not view to the valley and mountains. Good gym and average breakfast with limited services. SPA acces was excludeed and very expenssive around plus 60-70 CHF
