  • Nestled in the North Devon countryside, this charmingly converted chapel offers the perfect blend of rural beauty and easy access to the rugged coastlines of Cornwall and Devon. The village of St Giles is 3 miles away and offers a village pub and shop, and a further 4 miles will take you to Launceston, where you'll find an array of independent shops and cafes, as well as a castle boasting impressive views of the town. The surrounding area is rich with picturesque villages and lively attractions, including walking trails across Dartmoor National Park (14 miles) and Roadford Reservoir (4 miles). Conveniently located near the A30, the property provides easy access to popular spots across Devon and Cornwall. The coastal town of Bude (19 miles), boasts three sandy beaches, local shops, and fine eateries. Nearby attractions include the cobbled streets of Clovelly, sandy Widemouth Bay, and the magical Tintagel Castle (all within 25 miles).

    Upon arriving at this exquisite countryside home, step into the porch which is the perfect space to hang coats and kick off walking boots. Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor will keep the chill away during the colder months. Walk into the social heart of the home, the open-plan kitchen/snug. This room exudes quality and offers sociable space for all the group. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with handcrafted units, well-appointed worktops and all the appliances you will need for a stress-free stay. Guests have a choice of seating options from which to enjoy the chef’s hard work, including the main dining table in the lounge/diner, a central breakfast bar, and the comfortable outdoor seating on balmy evenings. Within this space there is the bonus of a snug area with an additional Smart TV – a perfect spot to relax with your holiday read and a glass of something chilled. A utility room and WC accompany the kitchen next door. Moving effortlessly through the glass French doors will bring you past the dining table and into an impeccably designed lounge/dining area. The luxurious lounge boasts comfortable seating options set around an extra-large Smart TV and a flame-effect electric fire – the perfect ingredients for a cosy movie night together. When the night draws in, head up the stylishly designed staircase which leads to a choice of four sumptuous bedrooms, all of which are wonderfully fitted and offer incredible space. Two rooms host king-size beds with accompanying en-suite shower rooms, whilst the additional rooms both boast super-king-size beds that can be converted into twins on request.
