House On the Shore of Lake Ontario Near Presqu'ile Park

This is a house south of Brighton, less than 2 hours East of Toronto, looking across the widest part of Lake Ontario. It has been in our family for 30 years and we've recently listed it for rental (pictures of property are from March 2021). Interior is well maintained and pleasantly dated, 90s style!

There are 100 feet of shoreline directly on Lake Ontario. House has 1.5 baths and 3 bedrooms. Large living room has cathedral ceiling and large windows with view of lake. House can sleep 6 easily, and 8 with extra mattresses or sleeping bags.

There are stairs leading down to Lake Ontario, which offers shallow entry to swim. The lake has a flat rock bed at this location. Note that the stairs should be carefully descended and ascended as they are steep, some may have problems with this.

Front and back yards have open space to run around. Private from neighbouring yards.

You are asked to bring your own linens, towels and bedding. We do have some to provide, so let us know if yo uneed them. Pillows and duvets/comforters are provided.

There is parking for 4 cars on asphalt driveway. Fully equipped kitchen has cutlery, dishes, cooking utensils and cookware, with quite a few appliances. TV, board games and internet available. Propane bbq outside.

15 minute drive to Prince Edward County, 10 minute drive to Presqu’ile Provincial Park.

Great location
This is a great location and we really enjoyed being able to swim just outside. Views were amazing and the yard offered a lot of privacy. The host was great and quickly responded to any questions we had. Had a great time and will definitely hope to return in the future.

Love the view
Our favourite part of this cottage was having coffee every morning and looking out at the lake. Great space for a couple families or a group of friends, as the bunkie and multiple bathrooms makes things easier for a larger group. Probably more suited to familes with older children/teenagers as there is a drop off at the shoreline and no sandy beach, but still good swimming and easy access for our kayaks. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent vacation with friends
The property had lots of space for our large group. We appreciated the large kitchen workspace and extendable dining table. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery and utensils. The view is amazing and backyard has a good mixture of sun and shade. Stairs to the lake were steep and we appreciated the owners recommendation of water shoes for swimming. The water is nice and clear. The owner is very good at answering questions.

Paul is a awesome host...quick to reply to all our questions and very accommodating. We truly enjoyed our 4 relaxing, restful days in the very comfortable living room with so many large windows providing a magnificent view of Lake Ontario. I would highly recommend Paul's VRBO to adults who want to discover Prince Edward County and love the beauty of nature
