“The ‘studio’ was a medium size bedroom with a shower room built into the corner and fridge, basin and microwave in a shelving unit along the wall. One of the two windows didn’t open and I had to move the bed so I could get the 2nd window open enough to try get fresh air in and cool the room. I definitely over paid a lot for what I got.”

“Apartment was quite pleasant. Clean, tidy and seemed comfortable.
Unfortunately it was the noisiest place I’ve ever stayed in. Other residents were extremely loud, heels clattering upstairs, drunken shouting at all hours and the noise from the Main Street outside was nothing short of horrendous all night long so we had no sleep.”

“Where to start, it was cheaper than most places in Newcastle but still wasn't worth what we paid. No air-conditioning, the kitchen drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, there were toenails in the bathroom, originally put in a two bedded room when there was 3 of us, very hot stuffy room, unable to open window properly as there was a chain lock preventing us. Beds were clean and fairly comfy.”
