We had a wonderful Room (number 18) with a great balcony. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff and the owner are extremely nice and helpful. The location is excellent, and the property itself is outstanding - a heritage house laid out amongst a large vibrant garden. Since it is a very old building, the rooms themselves have their quirks - tiny windows, the bathroom is just partitioned from the rest of the room - but if you can look beyond that then this is a steal at its price. Stayed at this property as a stopover while on a road trip with our pet dog. The place was clean and green. Property has a very nice touch and has a lot of elements to make it unique. Request the owners/managers to however be a little more courteous to prepare food for our pets accompanying us. The value for money this place represents is incredible. lt is not 5\* and you don't pay 5\* prices but it has absolutely everything I want. The owners have an excellent understanding of what any traveller might need. working A.C, WiFi, a fridge, individually switched bedside lamps, outside seating, a kettle, reasonably priced beer for sale, a knowledgeable front desk, s book exchange and the icing on the cake fresh real coffee (no Bru, real perculated coffee!) The bed linen is a tad dated, don't expect Irish linen but it's clean. We took advantage of the tuktuk tour at 150 rupees an hour it was fantastic, if you're British & visit Tipu Sultan palace be prepared to be suitably ashamed of your heritage as l was still very worth a visit.
