“We had a great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is gorgeous and super convenient to the M4. House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. We would definitely stay again.”

“Hamish and Susie were great hosts. Hamish met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house. We enjoyed the goodies in the welcome basket. The shortbread’s were delicious ( I believe they were homemade). We enjoyed our 3 night stay, the cottage was what we had hoped it would be. The gardens and grounds were so lovely and peaceful. Hamish gave us excellent advice getting to London by train. Our son and grandson enjoyed exploring Windsor Great Park, they saw a lot of wildlife. An awesome……

“Lovely cottage with homely feel. All the amenities you need for a relaxing stay”

“We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience ”

“We enjoyed our time.Victoria is a very helpfull host. The house is very clean and comfortable. The location is very good for traveling to London, Windsor and Oxford.”

“We spent a week of July at this property and were blown away by the beauty of the location. The cottage is very pretty with the kitchen and living room upstairs to take advantage of the views. Georgie, our host was excellent, replying to messages in super quick time, introducing herself to us in person but never intruding. We can’t recommend this property highly enough and have already booked our next stay. ”

“Exactly as stated on ad! A real home from home. Lovely and clean. Well equipped for longer stays. Comfy beds. Communication with owner was spot on. Would definitely use again if in the area.”

“This was a cosy and conveniently located cottage for our family of four. The hosts were very helpful and every detail had been considered. It was a short walk to the village shops and nice restaurants, and we found it to be very centrally located for visiting friends and family in the surrounding area. We have already decided we would be very happy to return the next time we are in the UK!”

“Dorothy was pleasant and the location was perfect. Very clean and I loved sitting in the back yard area. If you can, use the grill provided and cook out. Thank you for hosting us.”

“There is no parking at the property. It’s pot luck on roads around the property!! I received a parking ticket during my stay having specifically booked because the listing said parking. The beds were really comfortable, but some of the cleanliness and condition of things was questionable. There’s also a really noisy neighbour who blares television through the wall until 12pm. Shame, it had so much potential.”
