"Our five days at the apartment was supposed to be rainy but ended up being warm and sunny every day. We loved being able to use the pool and the room was spacious and newly remodeled. The hosts were very accommodating and I enjoyed conversing with them. They provided me with tips on the area too. There was a nice bakery and a cortina restaurant a few minutes walk away. The pretty garden that surrounded the house was an extra bonus."

"There are about 25 apartments in Colina Verde B - ours was closest to the pool and there was almost nobody else there - the pool was essentially our private pool. Nice clean place, beautiful setting, 7 minutes to the waterfront by car. Ascona is a lovely little place with a lively waterfront scene. All in all, ne of the best spots we have ever rented. "

"We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was clean, bright and spacious with a wonderful view. The pool and barbeque area was lovely. Host Charlotte was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the lake and the centre of Locarno. We would highly recommend!"

"Close to the lake, the area is pleasant, clean and we felt quite safe. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well laid out. The apartment is next to rail station but the noise from trains was minimal and not noticeable. It was fairly small but bright, ideal for a couple. "Good communication with Christian @ happy home rentals, a large apartment, a 2 seater couch was a shame but ok. we missed ventilators / airco so with 30+ degrees was very uncomfortable in the evenings. Kitchen with fridge / freezer was great. Coffee machine was also good. Beds were comfy and plenty of space for all luggage 👍"
