I booked this house for a family vacation. Three days before our arrival I received notice that the house was unavailable. Tanya assures me that she had a great condo that was much nicer than the house. She told us that we could check in early and checkout late since we were inconvenienced. The day of our arrival, she text to ask when we would arrive. Then told us it would t be ready by the check in time of 4:00 since they were completely revamping the entire condo and we would be the first people to stay there. So we detoured and have them extra time. We were FINALLY allowed into the condo at 7:00 pm. When we were able to get in...it was nasty. There was a horrible smell coming from around the fridge, the floors were sticky and had something red all over them, there appeared to be bug droppings in kitchen drawer, the shower was gross, the new towels she just bought turned my daughter blue, there were plug ins all through the condo that burned you throat, the dishwasher was going on our arrival with nothing in it, the TV was hooked up wrong ( husband connected it correctly only to reveal they hadn’t paid for the service), asked for the WiFi password and was finally given it at 10:00pm (tried it and it didn’t even exist), I could go on and on. Tanya was very slow to respond if she even responded see at all. Finally called VRBO and voices a complaint since we could not stay there due to the smell. Left at 7:00 the next morning as promised. Expecting a FULL REFUND as noted by Ryan with VRBO. First bad experience with VRBO. WIll be sure to NEVER rent from Tanya on VRBO again.
