So. Dakota vacation
Our family stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the surrounding area. The location was just what we needed for visiting Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Custer State Park and an assortment of other places.
From the time we walked through the door it felt welcoming and homelike. We played games at the kitchen table, roasted hot dogs and s’mores over the fire pit and grandchildren, who had never tasted fresh eggs, announced they never wanted store bought eggs again!😆 A good time was had by all.
One thing that worried us when we arrived was the sleeping area is all upstairs and the bathroom downstairs and the stairwell is open on one side. Our granddaughter sleep walks so she and nighttime trips to the bathroom were a concern. But we worked it out and it was fine.
There were also some issues with hot water and hot water pressure but our hosts were working on them and based on their positive welcoming attitudes I suspect the problem is fixed.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again if we were in the area.
