"We always enjoy our stay at Quail Cottage. It's cozy and located in a peaceful area with lots of bird action. The kitchen has all amenities and the beds are cozy, and I love the heated toilet seat haha. It is located up on a ridge above the town, so you are close to all of the services. However you are far enough away that you get a peaceful forest scene without the hustle and bustle of the city."

"If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and just enjoy the lake, this is the place. It feels a lot like going to your grandparents’ cabin where you can swim, boat, play cards and listen to the frogs at night. It was the perfect place for our family to have some down time. There are plenty of places to gather and visit and plenty of beds. We loved having a private dock and a big yard to relax in. My adult kids were not loving having no internet or cell service but it made the cabin experience even more true to summers on the lake. I would definitely go back again. Listening to the frogs at night and then waking up to the fog rolling over the lake as the birds sang felt like heaven. This was the perfect Troy stay!"
