Asked her in the morning about some delicious wafers and she seemed put off and she didn’t know. The place is down a pretty rough road is come from the national park. If coming from Bogarnes not bad. The views were absolutely spectacular. It was so relaxing to check in, unpack and have a lovely dinner right there. The hot tub experience is unparalleled!!! You have to see it to believe it. The complementary breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly. Friendly and helpful service and we could even borrow slippers to go out to the hot tub. The room was very spacious and even the bathroom was large. We had a nice time in the natural spring hot tub with a calming view. Unfortunatly our stay went downhill when it came to dinner. We ordered fish and one of them came with bones in it, which got stuck in the throat and coughed up. It’s a very serious and dangerous situation. We informed the staff, but still had to pay full price for the fish, and the rest of the night was ruined. Of. The. Best. Hotels. In. Iceland. You MUST stay here. A bit of a drive off the ring road, but it is well worth it. The staff are outstanding. The food is delicious. The rooms are spacious. And the outdoor hot pool and view is out of a magazine.
