Don't waste your money.

Posted Aug 11, 2017
This place is run down. Carpets, walls, doors, etc. all in terrible shape. Oh yeah and ceiling leaking at the breakfast. Free internet doesn't work. I was told to bring my computer down to main lobby. It was 9:30 at night and I was in pajamas.

Building Needs TLC

Posted Jul 22, 2017
Pros: The price. Also the beds were comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The manager was friendly and helpful when the door handle didn't work.
Cons: Everything could use a really good cleaning, repairing, and upgrading.
Location: We would recommend dinner at The Marina - a wonderful experience.
We couldn't get into the room even though the key seemed to work. I had to get the manager and it took at least 4 tries every time we had to renter the room. The handle was loose and had to be pulled in then lifted up instead of down. The room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom floor. Things throughout the entire hotel were in disrepair with many torn screens, bare spots in the carpeting, etc. The bathroom sink did not drain well, and in the morning the knob fell off the water faucet! The AC was not on when we entered, even though the temp was 90 degrees. We turned it on but the unit was very noisy and the room never cooled down completely. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was that it had an outdoor pool. We were looking forward to a nice refreshing dip on such a hot day. Before we changed into swimsuits (luckily) we went looking for the pool. There were no signs, but by going through some pretty sketchy areas (unlocked, but with evidence of some sort of minor construction) we could see it. The entire pool was dark green with algae and obviously hadn't been used in a long time. It was quite a disgusting sight! To their credit, they did have an indoor pool and it looked to be in good shape but we did not partake. Before leaving the next morning we went down for the free breakfast that was supposed to be served until 10am. At 9:00 all the hot food was empty. The wifi was free but was very spotty and was unavailable most of the time.

Hotel needs renovations

Posted May 26, 2017
For an extended stay this is not the right hotel. The rooms need renovation. We stayed for three nights and had to move rooms on the second because we work up with water coming out of the ceiling. The rooms could also be a bit cleaner. We found hair extension in the bathroom next to the toilet and tub and in the room flushed with the bed food crumbs and ants.

Very friendly staff who were helpful and pleasant. Hotel common areas were in fair to fair minus condition. Rooms were fair to average condition but clean. Breakfast was average in a slightly below average setting(literally in the lobby/reception area). Based on the discounted price it met my expectations.
